Job Description

I am recruiting for a Bridge Inspector / Structural Engineer for a Council client in South Wales to support of the management of the Councils asset portfolio of Structures maintaining inspection and survey data reports to statutory requirements.

The Bridge Inspector / Structural Engineer will work INSIDE IR35, working through one of our PSL Umbrella Companies.

The role is 5 days a week.

Essential Requirements:

  • Knowledge of current structural design standards
  • At least 3 years' post-qualification experience (full-time or equivalent) on the structural engineering design of highway structures
  • Confidence and competence in the use of IT systems, particularly those relating to Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Project Management

Desirable Requirements:

  • Knowledge and experience of the CDM regulations
  • To be an Incorporated Engineer
  • Specific Contractual Experience i.e. NEC suite of contracts.

  • Rate: Negotiable, DOE (Paid Per Hour)
  • Hours: 37 a week (Monday-Friday)
  • Start: October
  • Contract Length: 6 Months
