Conveyancing Paralegal - Multiple Locations

We're working alongside a regional firm, looking for a number of Conveyancing Paralegals & Assistants to join our clients Conveyancing teams across a number of offices in the Midlands! You will be supporting a highly skilled team of Fee Earners in handling a high volume of transactions. This role is perfect for a candidate who is looking to take their career to the next level within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include:

• A desire to be an active part of the Bridging and Commercial Finance Conveyancing team
• Building relationships with other professionals involved in property transactions
• Providing quotations to clients and prospective clients both verbally and in writing
• Attending to clients both on the telephone and in person
• Preparing correspondence using our case management system
• Preparing files for completion
• Drafting completion statements
• Reporting to client on searches, mortgage contract and title pack
• Checking MLR and obtaining evidence of funds
• Raising enquiries with seller’s solicitors
• Replying to enquiries of lender’s solicitors and dealing with lender requirements
• Administering filing systems which will include daily filing and the opening, closing, storage and retrieval of client files

What we need from you:

• High personal standards of work
• 12 months' experience within a conveyancing department
• A desire to progress your career within the conveyancing field
• Be able to prioritise work, work to tight deadlines and keep calm under pressure
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence to speak to people on the phone
