Commercial Manager – Structural Steel

I'm looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to join a leading structural steel company. Reporting to the Commercial Director, this role involves managing the commercial performance of high-value projects, up to £20 million.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the commercial performance of construction projects, ensuring cost/value management and internal reporting
• Managing all commercial and contractual dealings with the downstream supply chain
• Securing valuation and payment entitlements for projects
• Handling all aspects of the commercial process, from tendering to final account
• Ensuring compliance with JCT and NEC contracts

Knowledge and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Commercial Manager, ideally within the structural steel sector
• Suitable experience in main contracting or large subcontracting roles
• Strong understanding of JCT and NEC contracts
• Excellent track record in managing the commercial success of projects
