Since its launch, Saicho has been welcomed by renowned sommeliers, hoteliers and chefs around the world. As the brand continues its rapid growth, it is looking for a Production and Forecasting Manager to join the team. The new team member will work closely with Saicho’s founders to grow the brand.

The Role

Your primary responsibility will be overseeing the production of Saicho’s sparkling teas. You will work closely with our third party production site and Saicho’s founders to ensure we maintain excellent product quality and you will be training to become Saicho’s “Master Tea Maker”. Saicho is now available in 14 countries around the world, making long term forecasting a top priority for the company. By working closely with the Operations and Sales teams, you will ensure we always have sufficient stock as we rapidly scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the Production process at our Third Party Production Site. This will involve regular visits to their site in Shropshire on days when we produce.
• Work with the worldwide Operation team to build a Global Forecasting System that can be broken down into regions which allows both analysis of past sales as well as future projections
• Produce dynamic Monthly, Quarterly & Yearly Forecasts to ensure stock is produced to reflect the ever increasing demands across the business worldwide
• Ensure all Raw Materials, Glass and Labels are ordered in a timely manner to ensure no production delays
• Work with the Production site Operations Manager & the worldwide Saicho Operations Team to build a strong, efficient and flexible working relationship
• Using the forecast to build projections per region to be shared with the 3PL’s in those regions
• Support the UK Operations Team with 3PL Management & order processing
• Ensure CRM system is kept up to date at all times

Key Experience:

· Working with Production Sites and bringing a strong understanding of the Production & Procurement process within an FMCG environment

· Experience working with Third Party providers – preferably in both Production & Logistics situations

· Building Forecast System for SME’s – either from scratch or developing current systems to make them fit for current purpose due to significant increased demand

· Implementing & integrating Forecasting & WMS systems with Third Party Providers

· Experience in the Drinks industry would be helpful although not essential

· Possess a strong work ethic and demonstrate an ability to work stronger with suppliers & customers

· A Team player who has working in a fast growth business and is prepared to get their ‘hands dirty’

· You must have a driving licence.
