As part of a long term partnership with Cambridgeshire County Council our client is looking for a Structural Engineer to support the bridge design team in Huntingdon. This professional services based role will encompass refurbishment, strengthening and new build but will work as part of a larger projects team covering planning, design, construction and project management.

What You’ll Do:

• Inspect and survey existing highway structures.
• Design and assess bridges and other highway structure
• Prepare construction drawings, specifications, and safety documentations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

What They’re Looking For:

• Civil Engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters).
• Experience in bridge design and proficiency with software like LUSAS and Superstress.
• Knowledge of highway standards and Eurocodes.
