Job Description

  • Project Scheduling: Responsible for coordinating and managing the project timeline.
  • Payment Requests: Handle payment requisitions throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Contract Oversight: Review, manage, and enforce contracts effectively.
  • Change Management: Manage change orders, requests for information (RFIs), and proposed change orders (PCOs).
  • Budget Oversight: Maintain and manage the project budget diligently.
  • Submittals Management: Supervise the submission of shop drawings and other required documents.
  • Scope Compliance: Ensure contractor compliance with the documented scope of work.
  • Progress Meetings: Facilitate and lead regular progress meetings with stakeholders.
  • Site Visits: Conduct on-site visits at least once a week to monitor project progress.
  • Project Closeout: Oversee the successful completion and closeout of the project.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field, along with a minimum of five years of experience in commercial construction project management. They will have a strong ability to interpret and understand construction documents, exhibit exceptional attention to detail, and demonstrate effective time management skills. A self-starter who can work independently and lead a project team, this individual will also have excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Their adaptability in a fast-paced environment and proven leadership skills will make them a valuable asset to the client's team.
