Job Summary: The Highway Design Engineer will be instrumental in performing engineering tasks within the transportation and highway engineering field, adhering to relevant design criteria, standards, and processes. The role involves working on multiple design projects and assisting in the preparation of engineering documents for advertisement and construction.
Key Responsibilities:
Design & Development: Engage in the design and development of transportation projects.
Client Relationships: Assist in maintaining and building new client relationships.
Project Documentation: Prepare engineering documents for project advertisement and construction phases.
Collaborative Work: Work collaboratively with project managers and other team members to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Required Skills & Experience
Education: BSCE from an ABET accredited engineering program.
Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office, MicroStation, and Inroads or Geopak.
Industry Experience: 4 to 10 years of design experience in the highway transportation field.
Project Delivery: Experience with project delivery for State Agency Transportation Departments.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Licensure: Professional Engineering License preferred.
