About Our Client

Our Client is a top-tier general contractor specializing in high-density multi-family residential projects.

Job Description

    • Oversee all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
    • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
    • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Scheduling and Planning:
    • Develop and maintain construction schedules, ensuring timely execution of project phases.
    • Plan and coordinate project tasks, ensuring resource availability and allocation.
  • Quality Control:
    • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to construction plans, specifications, and industry standards.
    • Address any discrepancies or issues promptly to maintain project quality.
  • Safety Management:
    • Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
    • Conduct regular safety meetings and site inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
  • Communication and Coordination:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
    • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among all parties involved in the project.
    • Prepare and present regular project updates to senior management and clients.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.
    • Ensure all project documentation complies with company standards and regulatory requirements.

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, with at least 5 years focused on heavy multi-family residential projects.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale multi-family construction projects.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
    • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Proficient in construction management software and tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project).
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Thorough understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Certifications:
    • OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety Certification.
    • Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or similar certification is a plus.
