Established Commercial General Contractor is looking for a Superintendent / PM to join their growing team in Norwood, MA! Projects typically along the 495 belt and around Boston. Must be commutable to Norwood.

Specialize in Healthcare, Medical, Government, & Education projects, typically located along the 495 belt and around Boston. Relationship-driven business, majority of their work is negotiated with repeat clients.

Job Description

The Superintendent/PM is responsible for:

• Running Commercial (healthcare/higher education) projects - start to finish - up to $2M+
• Excellent working relations & communication
• Leading site personnel, providing guidance to ensure the highest levels of safety, productivity, and performance
• Developing & maintaining relationships with clients, and maintaining open lines of communication
• Reading, understanding, and maintaining a thorough understanding of contract documents, drawings and specifications, addendums, and qualifications
• Creating and maintaining a three week look-ahead schedule & ensuring adherence
• Driving the speed, direction, quality & safety of the project
• Some Project Manager duties
• Combo of onsite & in office

The Successful Applicant

The right candidate has the following qualifications:

• Minimum of 10+ years experience working as a Commercial Construction Superintendent with a GC
• Public project experience is a plus (will also look at Commercial)
• Comfortable running projects $2M+
• Proficiency in Procore & good computer skills
• MA CSL
• Construction related degree
