Computed Tomography Technologist - (CT Tech)

Pay Rate: $2452.22 - $2825.39



CT Tech needed asap
Performs high quality CT procedures, according to exam protocol, and in a timely manner. Maintains production and quality of imaging procedures by following established standards and procedures. Operates computed tomography scanning equipment, schedules procedures, provides for patients comfort and safety, and reports test completion to Radiologist.
High School Diploma
Graduate from an approved School of Radiologic Technology
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Current, Valid Texas Driver’s License
Medical Radiologic Technology (MRT) License from the State of Texas
The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Certification in Radiography R.T. (R)
The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
*Shannon Medical does NOT hire travelers/contracts that have a permanent address within 110 miles of the facility**
2 years Clinical Radiology experience preferred
All travelers will be required to float if needed. They will only be asked to float within their skill set. ACLS is required on 4 North, Stroke and Trauma, ICU, and ER. So we only need BLS for the MedSurg/Ortho and 4 South posting



Required Qualifications
High School Diploma
Graduate from an approved School of Radiologic Technology
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
