Manual Machinist

We are looking for a Manual Machinist for our client in Doncaster, DN10. The successful Candidate to be able to hit the ground running operating a variety of manual machinery working in the machine and ram repair division.

Manual Machinist Benefits:

• Hours of work: Monday - Friday 8.00 - 16.30 (+ 0.5 hrs overtime) plus overtime as required.
• Salary: £15 - £17.50 per hour basic rate. Depending on experience. Overtime rate at time and half for hours worked over basic rate and weekends
• Location: Doncaster, DN10
  
• Annual Leave: 25 Days plus Bank Holidays
• Probationary Period: 3 Months from start date
• Pension
• Contract: Permanent

Manual Machinist Role:

• Milling
• Turning
• Line & Horizontal boring
• Key cutting
• General machining
• Carry out specialist one off RAM and sundry repairs
• Work from drawings & samples

Manual Machinist Essential Attributes:

• Hardworking & reliable attitude
• Relevant engineering qualifications
• Experience working as a Manual Machinist, with extensive knowledge of drilling, milling, or turning.
• An excellent understanding of engineering drawings and quality inspection.
• A strong eye for detail.
• Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team.

Manual Machinist Experience:

• Machinist: 3 years (preferred)
