Development Engineer - Leading National Housebuilder
Location: Northwest
Salary: upto £50,000 plus company car or car allowance / bonus

Sourced Recruitment Group is delighted to be working in partnership with one of the UKs leading national housebuilders to find a Development Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer to further their career with a company renowned for quality and innovation in residential development.

As a Development Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the development process, from feasibility studies through to construction. You will work closely with the design and technical teams, ensuring that all engineering aspects of new residential developments are effectively managed.

• Assist in the preparation of feasibility studies for new sites, offering technical advice to ensure development plans are practical and cost-effective.
• Liaise with external consultants to manage and coordinate civil engineering designs, including roads, drainage, and utility services.
• Provide ongoing support to the project management and site teams during the construction phase, ensuring engineering issues are resolved swiftly and efficiently.
• Monitor compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations.
• Prepare technical reports, ensuring that designs meet the required technical specifications and standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that engineering solutions are fully integrated into project designs and meet the overall company objectives.

• Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in engineering within the residential or construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, building regulations, and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software is highly desirable.
