The Ideal Candidate

Successful candidates should have the following skills and attributes:

• Civil Engineering Experience: At least 5 years in setting out and surveying, with significant Earthworks experience. Ability to work independently and support early career engineers.
• Blueprint Comprehension: Essential ability to read and understand construction drawings.
• Survey Software Proficiency: Proficient in survey software, particularly LSS, with the ability to produce volume calculations.
• AutoCAD LT: Strong understanding of AutoCAD LT.
• As-Built Drawings: Capability to produce accurate as-built drawings.
• Surveying Equipment: Proficiency with total stations, GPS kits, and Dumpy Levels.
• Earthworks Expertise: Experience setting out profile boards and batter rails for earthworks, as well as highway or drainage projects.
• Quality Assurance: Strong grasp of site QA paperwork.

Candidate Requirements

• Driving License: Full UK driving license required.
• IT Literacy: Essential in this tech-driven industry.
• Education: Degree or HNC/HND in a construction-related field preferred or significant and relevant experience.
