Quant Researcher in Equities - Competitive £500-£550K Total Comp

Mondrian Alpha are engaged in an exciting search for a multi-strategy hedge fund in London. The firm manages a constantly growing AUM and has a record of consecutive years of strong performance.

The firm owes a lot of its success to its outstanding Quantitative Research group, which is in charge of managing the day-to-day functioning of a large portfolio, looking after aspects of investment, risk management, portfolio construction and trade execution. Consistent with the positive performance that the firm recorded in Q1 2024, the team is hiring a Quantitative Researcher to support its equities portfolio management business.

In this research-led position, you will work directly with the Portfolio Managers and conduct research around portfolio construction, risk, multi-factor modelling, trading cost analysis and market impact modelling. You will also be responsible for utilizing your quantitative and technical skills to deploy highly-advanced, proprietary tools and for automating discretionary strategies.

Opportunities for progression are varied. As the Quantitative Research group continues to expand, your role could evolve into leading a branch of the team. Your direct contact with the Portfolio Managers and your experience with portfolio construction could also potentially lead you to take an investment role.

For this position, the firm offers industry-leading total compensation packages up to £550K TC, inclusive of highly competitive benefits.
