360 Grab Operator

Brightwork's client is currently recruiting a 360 Operator (Grab) who will support the processing, recovery and management of materials.

Responsibilities

Ensure the plant loading operations are managed in line with our client's standards and Health and Safety legislation.

Ensure all mobile plant basic maintenance, cleaning & inspections are carried out and recorded as per Company and manufactures instructions and procedures.

Ensure compliance with all company work practices as directed.

Operate mobile plant and equipment safely and competently.

Assist with the general operation as required.

Undertake general housekeeping duties around the site and buildings in accordance with Supervisors instructions

Take responsibility for co-workers and own H&S, report all incidents and near misses.

Assist in the day to day operations of the plant in accordance with the site licence and contractual conditions.

Sort and separate materials types to support plant performance.

Safely and competently operate mobile plant.

Loading vehicles/Skips with material

Maintain the highest cleanliness of all working areas.

Qualifications/Experience

Full driving licence

Appropriate mobile plant licence

The successful candidate will have experience in the operation, and daily maintenance of the machines and, hold a current plant operator's licence and be qualified to NVQ level (SPMO) - alternative demonstration of competence will be considered.

Experience of continuous process operations

Previous experience operating 360° Grab/Material Handler

HOURS OF WORK

Position 1

4 days on/4 days off

Requires Working on Bank Holidays (except Christmas Day and 1 st January)

Plus Optional Overtime for Holiday Cover

Annual Holidays: 29 Days

Position 2

Dayshift/backshift

Week 1 Dayshift 05:30-15:00

Week 2 Backshift 14:30-23:00

Requires Working on Bank Holidays (except Christmas Day and 1 st January)

Plus Optional Overtime for Holiday Cover

Annual Holidays: 29 Days
