The school we are working with is looking for a Primary SEND TA to assist their children with across the school, and they are looking for the Primary SEND TA to assist the pupil's learning, and academic and social-emotional progression.

Primary SEND TA | Job Summary

• Initial 1-Year contract for a Primary SEND TA commencing imminently, and lasting until July 2025
• Work Monday - Friday, 8:30 am- 4:00 pm
• £400 per week | Paid PAYE
• Inclusive Primary School Provision in Barnet
• A Primary SEND TA will work with 4-11 year olds with various needs
• Safeguarding Training and other necessary training from specialists and professionals
• The role of a Primary SEND TA will mostly include 1:1 work with individual students

Primary SEND TA | Day-to-day:

• A Primary SEND TA will be providing classroom support to 4-11 year-olds with various needs Autism Spectrum Condition, Speech and Communication Difficulties, and ADHD and other needs.
• Planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for individuals and groups of students will be a priority for a Primary SEND TA.
• Monitoring pupils and assessing, recording and reporting on pupil achievement, progress and development and reporting findings back to the SEND Team is essential.
• Building core skills and supporting a strong knowledge base through a tailored approach to the individual needs of the pupils.
• Working within a high staff-to-pupil ratio to enable an individualized approach to learning.
• Developing and maintaining positive relationships with parents, carers and family.
• Working with CAMHS, the School Nursing Service and Early Help and Social Care teams.
