MONDAY - SUNDAY AVAILABILITY

£15.00 - £20.00 PER HOUR

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established general haulage client based in Lincoln.

We are looking for day drivers, night drivers and trampers.

The customer's operation is 24/7 so we can offer weekend availability.

This role may become permanent for the right candidate.

Rates of Pay

• Monday to Friday Days £15 per hour
• Monday to Friday Nights £17 per hour
• Saturday £18 per hour
• Sunday £20 per hour
• Nights out £25 per night out

Day to Day Duties

• Drive Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
• Curtain Side work
• General Haulage
• Trunk runs & Store deliveries
• Handball may be required
• Temperature controlled trailers
• Strapping loads correctly
• Positive 'can do' attitude
• Follow Company policies and procedures
• Comply with Driving rules and regulations

Essential Skills

• Hold a valid UK Category CE licence
• Hold UK CPC and UK Digital Tachograph Card
• Have a minimum of 12 months experience driving CE vehicles
• Maximum of six penalty points with no major endorsement codes
• Work in a professional manner
• Excellent communication skills

Desirable Experience

• Experience working on a general haulage contract is desired but not essential

Training

• Assessment may be required
