PROJECT MANAGER (Structured Cabling)

The Project Manager will be responsible for supervising engineering contracts, delivering excellent operational performance, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The position involves managing project schedules, budgets, compliance with health and safety regulations, quality control, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and contract teams.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Providing leadership to contracted teams and ensuring high-quality service delivery within budget.
2. Managing procurement, deliveries, and external resources, while keeping costs aligned with the budget.
3. Attending weekly project and finance meetings to monitor progress and assist with accounting functions.
4. Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and liaising with the Compliance Team.
5. Managing project documentation and risk management throughout the project lifecycle.
6. Supervising installation and integration teams to ensure consistent quality.
7. Developing and maintaining communication between the operations team and clients.

Experience Required:

• Engineering background in Telecoms, Audio Visual, Networking, or Data Centres
• Number of years working with various cabling projects (Installations/ Decoms - Fibre. Copper, etc.)
• Proven track record as Project manager in IT industries
• Experience managing and coordinating sub contractors
• Experience in building/ maintaining customer/ stakeholder relationships

The role requires strong planning, organizational, and communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience in managing customer relationships. Project management qualifications and health and safety training are advantageous.

The position offers a salary of £40,000 to £65,000 per year, with additional benefits including performance bonuses, company events, pension, on-site parking, and sick pay.

The schedule includes regular hours with potential overtime and weekend availability, and occasional travel abroad may be required.
