Head of Manufacturing

The One Group are pleased to be working with a leading tier 1 and OEM supplier of Aerospace components who are seeking a Head of Manufacturing to join the business ensuring the operations team meet delivery objectives.

The business is an established manufacturing company who supply world class components to high value customers, you will report directly to the CEO of the company where you will lead a skilled team leading process development for the business being held responsible for the weekly and monthly production activities.

The day-to-day duties include:

• Set strategic plans for Operations to deliver on business objectives
• Responsible for driving improvements to productivity levels within the business
• Provide a safe working environment by providing a facility, tools and equipment that comply with legal and company requirements
• Drive a continuous improvement culture, management excellence and high ethical standards

What we are looking for:

• Managerial experience from an Aerospace manufacturing background
• Have a strong understanding of supply chain and manufacturing processes
• Leadership skills with proven experience within people management and mentoring.
• Lean manufacturing and CI experience
