Position: Machine Setter
Location: Malvern Link
Salary: 23-28k (Depending on experience)
Hours: 07:45 - 16:15 M-T | 07:00 - 12:00 Friday
Contract: Permanent

About the Role:
Are you a motivated individual with a passion for engineering looking to progress your career in manufacturing? We are recruiting an experienced Machine Setter for an established manufacturing company in Malvern, this role would be suitable for a multi-skilled individual with experience producing precision parts coming from either a Manual Machining, Process Engineering or general Machine Setting background.

Key Responsibilities:

• Learn and work on various bespoke machines and lines, working closely with the operations and production manager to understand setting routines
• Focus on advancing process improvements
• Ensure health, safety, cleanliness, and security of the work environment is maintained
• Operate any machinery within the workshop and be willing to help in different areas if necessary

Key Skills Required:

• Worked in a Manufacturing or Engineering environment, with relatable experience
• Knowledge of Quality Control Systems and Health & Safety at work
• A familiarity with SMED and route cause analysis
• A background dealing with glass and an understanding of the safety issues that come with handling such materials are desirable
