Senior FF&E Designer

A Senior FF&E Interior Designer job is now available in SW London. The successful candidate will be a driven leader with an impeccable portfolio of luxury hotel and/or commercial residential projects. Salary of up to £60,000 and a hybrid work set up.

Our client is a leading interior design and architecture studio with projects spanning the globe. Their balanced style of understated luxury and timeless elegance has helped them curate the most enviable portfolio of clients within the hospitality and luxury commercial industry. They are now looking for a Senior FF&E Interior Designer to join them on a permanent basis and help leading teams and projects from brief to completion.

Role & Responsibilities

• Concept development and space planning
• Producing client presentations
• Working on all aspects of FF&E, including procurement
• Collaborating with furniture designers on bespoke joinery and furniture designs
• Running small to mid/size projects and collaborating on large-scale projects
• Leading and mentoring junior/intermediate-designers and teams
• Liaising directly with contractors, suppliers, and third parties
• On-site supervision.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years’ experience in the hospitality sector
• Proven ability running projects individually and as part of a team
• Experienced in delivering projects from concept to site installation
• Must have experience leading and mentoring teams and junior designers
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Familiarity and knowledge of both traditional and contemporary styles
• Strong knowledge of interior materials, furnishings, accessories and artwork
• Experience sourcing FF&E and finishes world wide
• Extensive experience liaising with and overseeing the procurement process/agents
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (preferred), Photoshop, InDesign, Spec Sources and Spec Designer
• Excellent communication skills.
