Coach Trainer

The main purpose of your role asCoach Traineris to supportZzoomm in planning, managing, and delivering training courses to internal stakeholders and supporting the wider People Team with the administration and planning of external courses. The training is for our installation, fibre and maintenance teams to support the delivery of our full fibre connections to homes and businesses, and is predominantly technical in nature.

This is a dynamic role and in between delivering formal training, you will be providing in-field coaching, attending joint visits with line managers, identifying areas for improvement, and assisting with any initiatives and ad-hoc projects.

Your key responsibilities will be...

• Plan and deliver training sessions that support the delivery and installation of our network as required across the business.
• Use your risk-based approach to prioritise conflicting training requirements.
• Regularly liaise with department managers and the People Team to plan and forecast training requirements across the business.
• Proactively identify gaps in training and make suggestions for course delivery, as needed.
• Provide advice and support to line managers relating to training queries and safe working practices.
• Carry out in-field competency assessments following initial training to ensure training techniques are implemented by trained individuals; highlighting areas for refresher or retraining as required.
• Create training packages, working with subject matter experts in the business to ensure they deliver the required learning outcomes.
• Maintain the company library of internal training materials to ensure they remain relevant and up to date with the latest legislation and working practices.
• Assist in the creation of toolbox talk materials.
• Keep on top of the industrys innovative products and techniques.
• Administer training and accreditation records, ensuring that all training related documents are recorded and stored on the relevant systems.
• Carry out inspections / joint inspections with line managers to review working practices and highlight further training needs.
• Support HSEQ with on-going initiatives and ad-hoc projects in between training demands.
• Undertake, and maintain a record of, continual professional development.

If you have a background in training within asimilar role in the FTTP industryand are eager to make a real impact, this role is perfect for you.

• Familiarityin the creation of training materials
• Experience of delivering field-based training
  
• Ability to develop knowledge and competence over time in line with the business and industry growth
  
• Create and develop training plans and programmes
• Set up creative and efficient training areas as required
  
• Happy to travel nationally on a weekly basis

• Teaching/Assessing qualifications
• NRSWA Operative & Supervisor
• Experience or Qualifications covering Asbestos Awareness, Abrasive Wheels, Manual Handling, Working at Height, MEWP, Ladder User / Inspector, Trailer Towing
• Driving Assessor
• NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate
