Job Description:

As a General Foreman, you will report to the Contracts Manager and be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of a complex civil works project. Your duties will include:

• Maintaining health & safety standards on-site
• Conducting toolbox talks and other briefings
• Procuring plant and materials through the company platform
• Managing the workforce, labour, and subcontractors
• Assisting in the completion of Safety Plans, RAMS & COSHH
• Maintaining accurate site record keeping including diaries, allocation sheets, plant returns, and goods received notes
• Overseeing subcontractors to ensure compliance with their check sheets
• Coordinating with site operatives and subcontractors to keep the project on schedule
• Ensuring a Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS) and a Permit to Work system are in place before work commences

Requirements:

• First Aid
• CSCS Card
• Driving Licence
• SMSTS / SSSTS
