Overview

Saiia Construction, a MasTec company, is currently hiring for a Heavy Equipment Operator with Roll Off Truck experience. A CDL is a plus, but not required.

The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for, but not limited to operating heavy equipment including dump trucks / haul trucks / roll off trucks.

Responsibilities

Rock / Articulated/Dump / Roll Off Truck Driver

  • Operates truck equipped with dump body to transport and dump loose materials, such as sand, soil, rock, gravel, coal, ore, industrial byproducts, and other such materials. Pulls levers or turns crank to tilt body and dump contents. Move hand and foot controls to move truck forward and backward to loosen and dump material adhering to dump bed body. May be designated according to type of material hauled, type of truck driven, and whether for on road or off-highway projects.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of EPA, OSHA, MSHA and other related state and federal regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to use email, smart phone, tablet, or computer to manage company information and documents.
  • Ability to draft routine reports and correspondence.
  • Must be able to maintain acceptable attendance standards per employee handbook.
  • Approach and complete work in a meticulous, thorough, and timely manner.
