Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent for K-12 commercial construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the construction site, ensuring that all work is completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all aspects of the construction project, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
- Collaborate with the project team to develop and implement strategies for achieving project goals.
- Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with the project plans, specifications, and relevant building codes.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure that all work is completed on time and to the required standard.
- Maintain a safe and productive work environment, ensuring that all workers adhere to relevant safety regulations.
- Monitor the progress of the project and provide regular updates to the project team and stakeholders.
- Attend meetings with clients, architects, and other stakeholders as required.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects, with a focus on K-12 education facilities.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Familiarity with relevant building codes and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
