Job Description

Reporting directly into the Construction of Development, the main duties and responsibilities of the Project Manager will include the following:

Safety:

• Demonstrate a commitment to safety on site and in the office
• Abide by all company safety regulations
• Work with safety department to have a working knowledge of the federal OSHA standards
• Attend all necessary safety meetings and provide necessary safety resources

Construction Operations:

• Administer all construction contracts
• Attend all subcontractor and owner meetings
• Produce and approve change orders
• review project schedules and budgets and hold the team accountable to them
• Prepare project reports and deliver to the necessary parties
• Monitor punchlist and close out of project
• Maintain customer and vendor relationships

Preconstruction:

• Manage the development of proposals and drawings for projects
• Work with the preconstruction team to estimate
• Manage bid proposals
• Award subcontractors

Miscellaneous:

• Meet with staff regularly to inform them of necessary changes and updates as well as maintain a good working environment
• Conduct performance appraisals with team
• Promote a culture that reflects the company's morals and mission
• Recruit and retain talent

The Successful Applicant

In return for a competitive compensation package, the successful candidate will possess the following:

• 5+ years of construction experience
• OSHA 30 Certified
• Experience managing large scale multifamily and/or commercial projects
• Experience in athletic facilities preferred
• Familiarity with Illinois codes and subcontractors
