Project Manager (Heavy Civil)

Position Overview
The Project Manager (Heavy Civil) will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of heavy civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in heavy highway and road construction, as well as a deep understanding of DOT regulations and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of heavy civil construction projects from start to finish
  • Collaborate with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Develop and implement project plans, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budgeting
  • Oversee all onsite and offsite activities, including subcontractors and suppliers
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental regulations and guidelines
  • Maintain clear and timely communication with all project stakeholders, including regular progress reports and updates
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and escalate issues as necessary
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy civil construction, with a focus on heavy highway and road construction
  • Strong understanding of DOT regulations and guidelines
  • Experience with asphalt paving, HCSS, and civil construction sitework
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field preferred
