Job Description

Position Overview: The Lead Superintendent is responsible for managing, coordinating and overseeing the field construction activities at multiple healthcare construction projects. The Lead Superintendent is expected to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance to industry standards, applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work effectively with the Project Manager to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop, implement and monitor construction plans, schedules and budgets.
  • Oversee the workflow of subcontractors and ensure that all tasks are being completed on time and in accordance with quality standards.
  • Interpret and enforce all safety regulations.
  • Resolve any conflicts that may arise during the course of construction.
  • Ensure that all projects are built in compliance with AHCA regulations.
  • Maintain open communication with the Project Manager to ensure that all projects are progressing according to plan.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Healthcare Construction field.
  • Knowledge of AHCA regulations.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot potential issues.
