Mechanical General Superintendent - Design/Build, Construction

Position Overview: The General Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction process, ensuring that it is completed on time, on budget and to the highest quality standards. The General Superintendent will also be responsible for pre-project planning and subcontractor partner management, as well as managing the organizational structure of each project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the pre-construction conference and pre-project planning process for each project
• Assess the available resources for each project and develop a lean process to optimize productivity
• Manage the subcontractor partners to ensure that each project is completed on time and to the highest quality standards
• Maintain a strong knowledge of the trades and scopes of work to ensure that the correct means and methods of construction are being used
• Inspect the work progress on a regular basis to ensure that all aspects of the project are on track
• Interact professionally with all stakeholders during each phase of the project
• Lead crews and achieve production goals

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in construction management or a related field
• At least five years of experience in Design/Build, Construction, Mechanical Construction, Turnkey Construction, or Installation
• Proficiency in MS Office, as well as the ability to read and understand plans, drawings, and specifications
• Strong organizational and layout skills
• Excellent leadership skills and the ability to achieve production goals
• A positive attitude and the ability to interact professionally with all stakeholders
