Hourly: 30-50/hr+ commission Based on consultants experience (can flex for the right candidate)

Overview:

As the Government and Education Sales Account Executive, your primary focus is on closing strategic business deals while maintaining sustained transactional sales growth. Youll work with a robust pipeline of new opportunities and collaborate with the entire partner ecosystem to identify, develop, accelerate, up-sell, and close transactions. This role is critical for selling our clients Products and solutions to support the operational needs of clients and prospects within State and Local Education Departments (SLEDs) and other large organizations.

Responsibilities:

Quota Achievement: Demonstrate a proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas.

Experience: Bring at least 5 years of experience in related software, IT sales, or customer experience (CX) sales.

Government and Education Knowledge: Possess strong knowledge of state and local government as well as the education community. Build relationships and engage at senior leadership levels, negotiating and navigating government contract vehicles.

Enterprise-Wide Opportunities: Recognize, analyze, and execute on both small and large-scale enterprise-wide business opportunities.

Leadership and Teamwork: Exhibit strong leadership and teamwork skills, effectively participating in cross-functional teams within a matrixed management environment.

Communication Skills: Communicate effectively through excellent written and verbal communication. Be a dynamic presenter, conveying information to all levels, including CXO levels.

Self-Starter: Manage and report on simultaneous partner engagements, demonstrating initiative and self-motivation.

Strategic Account Understanding: Understand the assigned accounts extended business model and create offerings and solutions aligned with corporate goals.

Complex Sales Campaigns: Manage complex enterprise sales campaigns while handling a diverse set of partners within the same accounts.

Sales Metrics:

Roadmap of Success: Set clear goals for ramping up, onboarding, and achieving greenlight status.

Onsite Requirement: Be client-facing, with 2-3 onsite meetings per week.

Sales Cycle: Typically spans 3-6 months, with a focus on net new business

Metrics:

Tier 1 Metrics:

Total Margin (Non-recurring): Measure overall margin from non-recurring sales.

Total Revenue (Recurring): Track revenue from reoccurring sources.

New Account Capture: Aim for 2 new account captures per quarter.

Tier 2 Metrics:

New Account Outreach: Make 25 calls per week to reach potential new accounts.

Meetings: Schedule and conduct 15 meetings per week.

Lead Response Times: Respond to leads within 4 business hours.

Client Response Time: Address client inquiries within 4 business hours.

Sales Metrics:

Skills and Requirements

Cooperative Selling: Experience selling cooperatively with partners and system integrators.

Direct and Indirect Sales: Familiarity with both direct and indirect (channel-driven) sales models.

Enterprise Applications: Must have experience selling in or around enterprise applications.

Competitive Success: Proven track record of success in highly competitive environments.

Client Interaction: Comfortable spending time on the phone with clients and vendors.
