Reporting To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Collaboration: Chief Executive Officer, Chief Construction Officer, Third-Party IT Consultants

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a forward-thinking Director of Technology to lead the integration and implementation of technological solutions across all company operations, aiming to boost efficiency and support growth. This strategic role involves the application of advanced software solutions, hardware, and data analytics to enhance productivity, streamline processes, and align technology initiatives with the company's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
Develop a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with business objectives.
Identify and leverage technological opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and business growth.
Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain competitive edge.
Process Improvement:
Conduct analyses of current operations to pinpoint improvement opportunities via technological enhancements.
Utilize data analytics to inform decision-making and enhance operational performance.
Implement technology solutions that streamline workflows and eliminate bottlenecks.
Monitor and adjust the effectiveness of new technologies as needed.
Implementation & Integration Management:
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define technology requirements and system specifications.
Manage the selection and implementation of systems and software that improve operational efficiency.
Ensure seamless integration of new technologies with existing systems and workflows.
Safeguard data integrity and security across all technological platforms.
Leadership:
Cultivate a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the technology department.
Enhance interdepartmental collaboration to ensure technology solutions are effectively integrated and supported.
Manage external vendor and partner relationships to secure advantageous terms and keep abreast of beneficial emerging technologies.
Communicate the impact of technology investments to the executive leadership effectively.
Budget and Resource Management:
Develop and oversee the technology budget.
Negotiate and manage contracts with technology vendors and service providers.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
Experience:At least 10 years of proven experience in technology management, focusing on integration and process improvement.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, showcasing strong leadership and communication skills.
Deep understanding of current and emerging technologies, software, and platforms relevant to the construction industry.
