B&M Electric, a well-established electrical company with over 50 years of specialization in high-end residential and light commercial projects, is seeking an experienced Residential Electrician. This position offers full-time engagement with occasional weekend work, involving custom home wiring, sophisticated lighting controls, extensive kitchen and bathroom remodels, and commercial tenant improvements.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Meet with clients to review the scope of work to provide a clear estimate and proposal.
• Collect authorizations and payments before starting projects.
• Ordering materials and making sure the van is stocked.
• Conduct troubleshooting and repairs across a variety of electrical systems.
• Handle service calls efficiently, providing exceptional customer service.
• Perform panel upgrades, new home wiring, and custom remodels.
• Install recessed lighting and execute other specialized electrical tasks.
• Evaluate electrical systems and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades.
• Take responsibility for projects from inception to completion, ensuring work is performed in accordance with current and local electrical codes.
• Communicate effectively with both customers and contractors to ensure project requirements and timelines are met.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential electrical work, with documentation to prove experience.
• Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a drug test and background screening.
• Valid Social Security Number.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Owns a complete set of trade-related tools.
• Capable of following detailed instructions with minimal supervision.
• Strong knowledge of current local electrical codes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage projects independently.
• Ability to use construction estimating and CRM software. Strong tech skills.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday 8:00 - 5:00pm

Work Location:

• Torrance, CA 90503 - Pick up and Drop Work Truck
• South Bay and Surrounding areas
