Stringless Paving Technician

DUTITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Position total stations to control the horizontal and vertical alignment of our trimmers and concrete pavers
• As-built pavement to insure new design ties into existing pavement
• Establish job site control networks
• Perform quality assurance of tolerances to line and grade while paving and trimming operations are in motion
• Construction layout of pavement edges and joints
• Works from engineering plans to establish lines and grades for construction purposes; keeps engineering notes and records of data secured
• Coordinate surveying activities with jobsite Superintendents
• Performs other related duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent,College or Technical Degree in Surveying or construction related field (preferred)
• Familiarity with the surveying and construction industry, willing to train the right candidate who meets our company culture
• At least two years of relate industry experience required
• ability to travel
