- Position total stations to control the horizontal and vertical alignment of our trimmers and concrete pavers
- As-built pavement to insure new design ties into existing pavement
- Establish job site control networks
- Perform quality assurance of tolerances to line and grade while paving and trimming operations are in motion
- Construction layout of pavement edges and joints
- Works from engineering plans to establish lines and grades for construction purposes; keeps engineering notes and records of data secured
- Coordinate surveying activities with jobsite Superintendents
- Performs other related duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent,College or Technical Degree in Surveying or construction related field (preferred)
- Familiarity with the surveying and construction industry, willing to train the right candidate who meets our company culture
- At least two years of relate industry experience required
- ability to travel
