- This skilled position involves troubleshooting and repairing installed systems; Including panel repair/reprogramming, device replacement/repair, resolving low voltage circuit troubles, and system testing.
- Organize and effectively utilize technical resources, information, material, and support to assure efficient execution of all assigned tasks.
- Candidate must possess excellent written/verbal communication and outstanding customer service skills.
- The position involves the programming of fire alarms, security, and access control system panels.
- On-call and after-hours work required on occasion for customer needs.
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 4+ years' experience with fire alarm
- Comfortable working at client customer locations including construction sites.
- Must be able to interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
- Must be able to manage small move add changes with little Supervision.
- A good working knowledge of computers is necessary.
- Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 40 lbs.
- Must be able to do electrician type work to include pipe bending, wire pulls etc.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements.
- Demonstrate a high level of customer service.
- Ability to always follow safety guidelines and procedures.
- Possess a valid driver's license and driving record.
Preferred
- Technical training and programing.
- NICET 1 to +2
- Fire Alarm, Security and Access experience control.
- Non-Simplex Fire Alarm Panel Experience
