As a crusher plant electrician, your primary responsibility is to ensure the electrical systems and components of the crushing plant are operating efficiently and safely.

Electrical Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, repairs, and maintenance on all electrical equipment and systems within the crusher plant, including motors, conveyors, control panels, lighting, and other electrical components.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues and malfunctions, utilizing schematics, wiring diagrams, and testing equipment to identify and resolve problems promptly.

Installation: Assist in the installation, wiring, and commissioning of new electrical equipment and systems, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.

Preventive Maintenance: Implement preventive maintenance programs for electrical equipment to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan. This includes conducting regular inspections, cleaning, and replacing worn or faulty components.

Emergency Repairs: Respond to emergency breakdowns and electrical failures, working quickly and efficiently to restore operations and minimize production losses.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures while performing electrical work, including lockout/tagout procedures, arc flash safety, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and MSHA Certification.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and equipment histories.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with PLC Relay Logic (preferred)
* Experience with 120-480 volts, starter controls, variable frequency drives, and soft starts (preferred)
* Prior experience with crushers and material processing (preferred)
* High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a recognized electrical apprenticeship program preferred.
* Valid electrician's license or certification in the relevant jurisdiction.
* Proven experience as an electrician in an industrial setting, preferably within a mining or crushing plant environment.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
* Familiarity with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards. Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and diagrams.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Willingness to work flexible hours and travel will be a high probability.
