This is a perfect role for you who are in the beginning of your career, and who wants to take on a developing and important role within our customer support to serve customers of one of Stoneridge's important products, the Tachograph. At Stoneridge we can offer a global context and a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
As Customer Support Technician, you will be overall responsible for the technical assistance of our Account Manager Importers. This means you will make sure to provide best-in-class service to our customers, making sure to support them with various technical related customer queries or complaints.
You will be collaborating closely together with the Account Manager Importers, Account Manager Distributors, Telematic Service Provider's technical contacts as well as Stoneridge's engineering- and sales departments. Your colleagues are helpful with a proactive attitude where everyone is encouraged to take their own initiatives. And your support is highly appreciated amongst our customers.
Main responsibilities, but not limited to:
* Qualitative support via phone and email for technical related customer queries and complaints.
* Maintenance and management of technical equipment's required to handle customer queries: Optimo, Tachographs, accessories, Scope, Frequency source, Can Reader, etcetera.
* Contributing with continuous improvement of the services delivered to the customers
* Handling warranties
* Support Account Manager Importers with various administrative tasks.
You will be located in our Bayonne office, reporting to our Importer Customer Support Manager, who is also located here.
Personal Competencies
As a person you are a strong problem solver with great structure, curious at heart, always eager to learn. You are service-minded and able to communicate in a clear and pedagogic way, making sure to translate customer issues into technical tasks. Collaboration is key and we believe you can quickly build trust within your team, as well as with customers.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree within technical domain, preferably electronics
* Fluently in English, both oral and written you will use both languages on a daily basis. Other European languages is a plus.
* Tech-savy with excellent skills in computer administration and within MS Office; Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook and Teams.
Additional qualifications; nice to have- but not limited to
* CanBus Knowledge.
* A couple of years of experience from similar role
* Experience from working within electronics/ with electronic components.
* Expereince from the Automotive industry.
