Job Description

AHV - The Business Development Associate will support various business development activities, including maintaining prequalification documents, conducting industry research, managing data and reports, maintaining social media sites, and updating marketing materials.

Key Responsibilities:

Prequalification Packages:

  • Complete and store bid prequalification packages on SharePoint.
  • Track and update prequalification documents as needed.
  • Ensure all supporting materials (references, safety records, organizational charts, bios, etc.) are current.
Industry Research and Datamining:
  • Review industry press releases to identify potential business development opportunities.
  • Focus on sectors such as Hydrogen, Digital Infrastructure, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), identifying key projects and players.
Website Management:
  • Update the website with completed projects and relevant details (e.g., MW rating).
  • Implement features such as a utilities sort function and a BESS section.
  • Maintain event listings and the Commitment to Community page, possibly converting it to a news feed format.
  • Regularly update the "In The News" section with links to relevant press coverage and company projects.
Request for Quotations (RFQs):
  • Upload RFQ information to SharePoint and create summary sheets for the engineering team.
  • Review RFQ information for completeness and make notes on missing or preliminary data for follow-up.
Project List:
  • Maintain and keep the project list current.
Trade Shows:
  • Assist in setting up meetings and managing schedules via ICalendly.
  • Support trade show setup and teardown.
  • Help prepare marketing materials for meetings and coordinate logistics, including booking meals and tracking booth shipments.
  • Coordinate post-event donations and take photos for social media.
Social Media (LinkedIn):
  • Post weekly updates and reach out to project managers for photos and project updates.
  • Organize and move site photos to media folders and update the website's project carousel.
  • Manage LinkedIn followers and boost engagement.
  • Coordinate with project managers for drone footage and community service event posts.
Google Account:
  • Update the company profile regularly.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Experience: Relevant experience in business development, marketing, or a related field
  • Travel Requirements: Ability to travel as needed for meetings, trade shows, and site visits.
