MySQL Database Administrator

An experienced MySQL Database Administrator is needed to join the team at this leading trading software company based in London on a full-time basis.

You will be responsible for maintaining the MySQL database infrastructure running on RedHat Linux.

This position requires working from their City of London office 3 days per week.

Their system allows clients to completely control and customise their execution workflows through a comprehensive ability to search/access liquidity while maintaining the confidentiality of their trading strategies.

Required Skills:

• MySQL database administration experience
• Comfortable working in Linux RedHat or CentOS environment
• Experienced in troubleshooting issues and determining root causes
• Experience writing and maintaining Python and Bash scripts a plus
• Must be willing to participate in an on-call rotation

Desirable Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field
• Experience with MySQL 5.7 or 8.0
• Experience configuring and managing MySQL replication
• Experience with Git or other version control systems
