Application Support Analyst - Trading - £500+ per day

Our client is one of the world’s leading commodity trading firms, based in central London, they’re looking to hire an Application Support Analyst.

This is an initial 6 month contract, hybrid working and paying ~£500 - £600 per day depending on experience.

You’ll be responsible for supporting, monitoring and operating middle and back-office production applications - Delivering release cycle changes, onboarding new applications, and providing quality operational and technical.

Requirements:

• ~ 2 - 4 years’ experience as an Application Support Engineer / Analyst.
• Good knowledge of the trade lifecycle and SQL.
• Experience of end-of-day batch processing and business reporting.
• Strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills
• An understanding of ITIL
• Good knowledge of Windows, SQL Server and (ideally) PowerShell, VBA and Power BI
