CFO PE-Backed Professional Services (Buy and Build) Business

Marks sattin executive search is working with an effective international, PE Backed tech enabled Professional services buy and build business based in West Midlands, that has experienced significant organic and inorganic growth through acquisitions via an impressive buy and build platform. Working closely with the senior management team and the PE firm, the CFO will ensure financial excellence and execute due diligence for potential acquisitions. The CFO will provide skilled financial leadership, develop and execute the business’s financial strategy, and offer accurate financial projections to support strategic decision-making.

Additionally, the CFO will support the CEO and management team in developing and delivering the business plan while leading the finance and operations department. They will play a key role in professionalising the business by implementing controls, processes, and procedures to support growth.

The successful candidate will be seeking a true value creation opportunity. Acting as a leader and role model, you will be heavily involved in leading an active M&A and investment strategy to drive the continued growth of the business by identifying, analysing, and negotiating opportunities and ensuring top level execution.

The ideal candidate:

• Be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA), preferably chartered.
• Experience being a CFO in a PE Backed business with a strong track record in a Buy and Build environment
• A track record of implementing and improving accounting systems, processes and management information and financial reporting.
• Experience of Buy and Build/ M&A with a thorough understanding of financial due diligence for acquisitions, and potential risks and opportunities
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to operate at pace and drive change.
