Systems Engineer Car Configuration

Expleo is a leading automotive engineering services provider. We work with some of the major providers and OEMs on their transformational projects. Due to a number of large projects increasing in size, we now have the need for CCF Systems Engineers with experience in delivering to meet customers expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain Car Configuration File (CCF) rulesets to support vehicle production.
• Plan CCF changes against overall ruleset release timing plan.
• Maintain metrics for CCF eTracker completion against vehicle build phases and change points. Maintain CCF parameter lists and specifications.
• Develop and implement improved Processes and Standards for CCF.
• Support CCF transformation and prevent recurrence projects.
• Build and maintain excellent working relationships with function owners.
• Support Product Information, Electrical Integration with CCF related issue resolution

Essential Skills Needed:

• Must be capable of working under pressure.
• The ability to analyse a situation and identify the optimum containment action in the shortest possible time is critical to maintain production.
• Must be capable of analysing complex logic relationships.
• Basic programming skills and a demonstrate an aptitude to cross train to other languages.
• Capable of working without close supervision.
• Confident communicator. Most effective solutions will require give and take across the various teams involved.
• Some degree flexible hours working may be required due to the international nature of the business.
• Experience of dealing with remote teams in other countries
