Plater

This contract role is initially set for 6 weeks, starting on 2nd September, with a possibility of extension. The work schedule comprises 10-hour days including weekends, adding up to 70 hours weekly.

You must be eligible for security clearance and a baseline clearance will be processed before starting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing plating tasks with precision and efficiency
• Fabricating metal structures as required for marine projects
• Ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards
• Collaborating with the team to optimise project outcomes
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
• Adhering to project timelines and specifications
• Reporting progress and any issues to supervisors
• Supporting the team in meeting overall project goals

Job Requirements:

• Experience in plating and fabricating within the marine industry
• Ability to work long hours, including weekends
• BPSS security status is preferred; however, our client can submit forms and provide escort if necessary
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Adaptability and ability to manage workload effectively

Rate:

£23/h Umbrella co, a non local rate may be possible dependant on experience
