Clinical Psychologist - learning disabilities

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for aClinical Psychologistto join a rehabilitation service inSouth Wales.

Role snapshot:
The candidate appointed will be joining an MDT who work within a specialist residentialstep-down rehabilitationservice for adult service users who present with ASD, learning disabilities and/or acquired brain injury. Many of the service users have a long history of inpatient care, some of which may have a forensic history.

The post holder will provide specialist psychological assessments and therapeutic interventions which will include a person centred approach, CBT and positive behaviour support.

Contract type permanent
Hours both part time and full time will be considered.
Salary- £44,400- £58,200 FTE

Experience required:
Psychologists applying will haveHCPCregistration as a Clinical, Forensic or Counselling Psychologist along with experience working with complex mental health. Those due to qualify in 2024 are encouraged to apply.
