You’ll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits

We have invested in new technologies for our pharmacies including a new PMR system and centralised dispensing to allow you to focus on providing quality care and services to our customers.

We are focused on mental health and wellbeing which is why we’ve put all our field managers through the Mental Health Awareness course to raise awareness and enable a greater level of support when working in our pharmacies.

Overview of the role

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join the team and make a difference at our pharmacy in Feversham Lane, Glastonbury. This is a part-time role covering Thursday to Saturday.

This incredibly successful pharmacy attracts a lot of patients from the Glastonbury community and is next door to the local GP Surgery who we have a fantastic relationship with! With on-site parking, local shopping, and a short walk to Glastonbury Tor we process a large number of items.

How our pharmacy makes a difference:

• It dispenses 14,000 - 15,000 items a month,
• It provides a wide range of services including NMS, DMS, Hypertension, Flu, Pneumonia, ABPM, Contraception, Pharmacy First.
• It provides services to 3 care homes (around 20 beds) and 26 substance misuse patients.
• It dispenses 60 community blisters.

This pharmacy is open 8am until 6:30pm, Monday - Friday, and 9am until 3pm, Saturday.

The dynamic team at this pharmacy is comprised of a Team Leader, x3 Dispensers, and a Trainee PA.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is desired but not essential. You will be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.
