Associate/ Senior Associate

Our team of non-contentious Intellectual Property Lawyers have extensive experience advising on the development and exploitation of IP and IP in contracts. We specialise in high-quality work for both commercial and public sector clients and are looking to further strengthen the team with an IP Lawyer who is driven and passionate about IP.

We are consistently ranked top tier by the L500 and Chambers and Partners and have built a reputation for advising on complex legal matters and thrive on high profile and groundbreaking projects.

The Work

Our expertise in Intellectual Property includes the following:

• IP transactions, such as licensing, assignments and franchising


• advice on structuring IP ownership


• R&D, collaboration agreements (both academic and private sector) and joint ventures


• intellectual property audits


• support for broader transactions

What you'll need

• Relevant experience working on non-contentious/transactional Intellectual Property matters


• Be a strong team player, with excellent interpersonal skills


• Able to manage a complex and varied workload effectively


• Be self-motivated and willing to learn


• Experience of leading others to develop their skills and knowledge.


• Must be a SRA or Law Society of Scotland registered lawyer

This role would suit a lawyer wishing to further their career in a practice that will provide a varied range of high profile IP work. Our IP lawyers are encouraged to participate in business development with excellent support and opportunity for career progression.
