Elevation Recruitment is excited to be working with a steel forgings and castings engineering company in Sheffield to recruit a Test Laboratory Machinist for a permanent position.

Test Laboratory Machinist

• Contract: Permanent
• Hours: 37.5 per week, 07:45-16:00, Monday to Friday
• Salary: £34,466
• Location: Sheffield

Role:

• Perform heat treatment of test specimens in line with specific instructions.
• Machine test specimens precisely according to drawings, standards, and specifications.
• Ensure accurate identification and traceability of machined test specimens.

Requirements:

• Experience with CNC Milling.
• Strong understanding of health and safety protocols in the workplace.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work with both imperial and metric measurements.
