Job Description

The Asset Management business sector within Altrad Babcock is a highly specialised engineering service and equipment provider supporting our customers to minimise cost, maximise return and mitigate risk through their asset’s integrity lifecycle.



We are currently recruiting for a Project Engineer (Manufacturing), within the Manufacturing Engineering Function to join our mission of delivering certified Asset Management services, consultancy, and integrated projects, across the global low carbon energy and infrastructure markets.



The Manufacturing Engineering function within Asset Management provides technical services in manufacturing and takes responsibility for QHSE, technical, financial and project management activities to meet customer requirements. Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Department Head, the Project Engineer will support with the management of a portfolio of manufacturing projects. You will understand manufacturing principals and their application within a fabrication workshop environment. Project management and cost control experience in a similar role is also desirable.



Our successful candidate will have the ability to lead and govern major manufacturing projects within Asset Management. You will perform specific technical assignments which supports the delivery of a variety of engineering projects.



While having the ability to aid in the field of manufacturing in support of the Asset Management’s activities, our successful candidate will have the capability to interpret client project requirements. specify delivery strategy and implement and govern this strategy to fulfil contractual agreements. Along with this you will perform routine engineering tasks, prepare standard documents, and assist in contributing to project delivery as appropriate.



We require our new Project Engineer (Manufacturing) to have a degree in Engineering or equivalent.
