JOB – Electrical Maintenance Technician

LOCATION – Tyne & Wear

TERM - Permanent

SALARY - £37,000 - £40,000 per annum.

A Tyne & Wear based manufacturing company are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Electrical Maintenance Technician will ideally have the following attributes:

• HNC or equivalent/ higher electrical engineering qualification or relevant discipline.
• Previous electrical maintenance experience.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.

The Electrical Maintenance Technician’s duties will involve:

• Preventative & planned maintenance for plant & process equipment & systems.
• Providing support to contractors & junior engineers when required.
• Carrying out risk assessments to ensure standards are met.
• Ensuring health & safety regulations are met at all times.

Additional Information:

• Base salary sits around 37k with an annual shift allowance bringing this to above 40k.
• Alternating early & late shifts.
• Early finish every Friday.
• Overtime available.
• Good pension package up to 7%.
