The Caring Family Foundation was established in 2019 by Richard and Patricia Caring. Its vision is to build a world free from hunger, harm, and hurt, where women and children can thrive. The foundation operates in the UK and Brazil and is dedicated to supporting partners and organisations working towards a future where every child has access to a nutritious meal, all women are free from violence, and rainforest communities can flourish through tree-planting initiatives.


Job Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and strategic Marketing and Communications Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing, branding, and communication strategies to raise awareness, engage stakeholders, and drive support for our mission and programs.


Responsibilities:

- Working with Senior Leadership, develop and execute integrated marketing and communication plans to promote the foundation's initiatives, events, and fundraising campaigns.

- Manage marketing and communications calendar with input from content & PR teams

- Manage the foundation's digital presence including website maintenance, social media planning, email newsletters, press releases, and marketing collateral.

- Manage design and production for Foundation collateral including brochures, impact reports, and stationary, collateral for events.

- Manage brand guidelines and brand book project working with agency partners.

- Coordinate with program managers and stakeholders to gather stories, testimonials, and impact data for use in marketing materials and communications.

- Monitor and analyse marketing performance metrics, including website traffic, social media engagement, email open rates, and campaign effectiveness.

- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in marketing and communications to enhance the foundation's outreach efforts.

- Collaborate with internal teams, including development, programs, and administration, to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and branding.

- Manage marketing budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships effectively to optimize resources and achieve objectives.


Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.

- Proven experience in marketing and communications roles, preferably in the non-profit sector.

- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear, compelling, and persuasive content for diverse audiences.

- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including website CMS, Donorbox, email marketing software, social media management tools, and analytics platforms.

- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.

- Commitment to the foundation's mission and values, with a passion for making a positive impact in the community.
