• Year 1: £27,000 + £1,000 one-off signing-on bonus (Paid November 25!)
• Year 2: £30,000
• Year 3: £35,000

Assessment Centre will be held at either our Spalding site, Newark site or London site!

About the Programme

Our 3-year HR Programme offers comprehensive experience, blending factory and central HR functions to equip you with the skills and knowledge for senior HR roles.

Programme Highlights:

• Diverse Placements: Work in both factory settings and central HR functions to gain a well-rounded understanding of HR at Bakkavor.
• Pathway Options: Choose a preferred pathway in your third year to tailor your experience.
• Comprehensive Exposure: Engage with all HR facets, including People Services, Systems, Resourcing, Employee Relations, Learning & Development, Performance & Talent Management, HR Analytics, Employment Law, and Reward Management.

Career Aspiration:

By the end of the program, aim for a Senior HR Business Partner role within 5-7 years, with a career path tailored to your interests and strengths.

About you

We seek graduates with strong personable and influencing skills, coupled with a business-focused mindset. You should be adept at managing a fast-paced environment with excellent organizational skills. An inquisitive nature and a drive to challenge norms are essential for success. At Bakkavor, innovation is key to staying ahead, so staying current with industry trends and news is crucial.

To be eligible for the Human Resources Programme, you must meet the following criteria:

• Degree: Achieved or expected to achieve at least a 2:2+ honours degree in any discipline.
• Experience: At least three months of relevant work experience.
• Work Eligibility: Right to work in the UK for a minimum of 3 years from September 2025.
• Motivation: A clear commitment to advancing your career in the food industry.
• Flexibility: Willingness to complete three 12-month placements at different locations across the UK (we will consider your preferences).
• Cultural Fit: Alignment with Bakkavors values and a strong fit for our organization.

After applying, you can expect to complete some initial questions around some relevant scenarios at Bakkavor, followed by an online psychometric test and a non-live video reflection. If successful, we will invite you to an assessment centre in January or February 2025. These interviews are for a September 2025 start on the programme.
